Meet Tearni, a caring Lifestyle Officer using technology to enhance resident experience

Tearni loves connecting with residents and supporting them to stay engaged, active and healthy.

Like every member of our Care Team, she uses CareKeeper, an advanced technology application, to better understand and connect with each resident, so she can help them enjoy every day.

“CareKeeper holds all the up-to-date information about their individual care needs, their lifestyle preferences and their life story. At a glance, I have everything I need to build meaningful connections with them and provide more personalised care,” says Tearni.

“I can see their favourite routines, their interests, what brings them joy – it’s all there on my mobile device when I’m at the resident’s side. I don’t need to trawl through paper notes back in the office.”

“I know how to interact with them around things they enjoy, which is one of the best parts of my job. If I know more about them, I can make them happy”.

Manager, Bien, says the technology benefits all residents and staff. “We can tailor care to the residents’ needs, save time on admin, and spend more quality time directly with residents, instead of in Nurse’s stations.”
