Creating a true sense of home
Nanyima’s smaller households mirror the look and rhythm of home, with welcoming lounge and dining rooms and a large, open courtyard that offers the familiar features of a traditional backyard. Your light-filled room, complete with its own ensuite, can be furnished and decorated as you like, and your privacy will always be respected. Fully refundable room deposit: $490,000.

Our Carers and Nurses focus on you as a person, getting to know your story, likes and routine. On-hand 24/7, they provide a holistic care experience tailored to your needs. With specialist expertise across all aspects of aged care, including personalised care, dementia and palliative care, infection control, and respite care, they support each resident with kindness and compassion.
Design your own day
Just like at home, you decide how you’d like to spend your day. When you rise, eat and shower is up to you, and you’re supported to keep doing the things you’ve always enjoyed, like watering the garden, visiting the hairdresser and continuing your interests. There’s no set visiting hours, so you can welcome friends and family whenever you like.
Meaningful activities that bring enjoyment
We support you to find comfort, enjoyment and meaning in your daily life. Our resident-driven Lifestyle Program includes a range of interesting activities and outings, and we’ll help you maintain your valued family and community connections. Residents are welcome to attend on-site Chapel services and receive pastoral support.
A flexible approach to home-made meals
When it comes to food, there’s plenty of choice – just like home. Everything is freshly made in our own restaurant-style kitchen, and our menus offer variety and family favourites. You can choose when and where you eat your meals, and our kitchen staff can make you and your visitors a snack or drink at any time.

Nanyima has been an integral part of the Pioneer Valley region for over 30 years. Since 1993, it has been the heart of the town of Mirani, enjoying unwavering community support. Located just 35 minutes’ drive west of Mackay, Queensland, Nanyima is nestled amongst sugarcane plantations and sugar mills, and is close to beautiful rainforests and national parks.
